Thanks for the compliment, Stephanie! I realized I didn't mention in the review that my boyfriend of six years is a chef, so I certainly know the feeling of having a partner who is much better than you in the kitchen!

I've learned so much from him about food, culinary school, and life in a kitchen, so that certainly was part of the reason this book grabbed my attention...and I did learn a few things that help me understand what he says sometimes!

I stink as a chef, but I do love to eat and cooking is something my husband excels at. I do respect, however, following your dream and diving into a new world bravely. Life is for savoring.

An excellent review.
